Thomas' print series of the early 20th Century oil boom takes on the excitement of the "wild cat" independents. His Civil War pieces tell the story of some of the worst of times, his westerns tell of some of the best of times. His historical prints create a haunting ambience giving one cause to look once again at our heritage as citizens of these United States.

Andy is also involved in two large projects for the National Park Service due to be unveiled Summer of 2008. Eleven new images will be used in exhibits at Civil War battle fields. His work is used for NPS brochures, many books & book covers, and videos produced by NPS and National Geographic.

Two recent pieces are examples of that creativity in composing his stories in oil. The "Big Dawgs" project presents "True Blues" and "Grand ol Gang", images of past presidents playing poker with seven presidents in each painting. "Pirate Party" combines 26 great musicians that are no longer with us.

Thomas lives & works at his studio in Carthage, MO, with his wife Dina who is also his business partner.
