Biography-Y-Trushin

For the next several years he performed high quality digital retouching and design for models and world celebrities in hair style and fashion design in Moscow. He was an editor-in-chief and publisher of a newsletter for American business community in Moscow. Yuri moved to United States in 2000 and spent the next three years working as a graphic designer at Texas Tech University and exploring Southwest.
   A professional artist and illustrator for over ten years, Yuri's experience encompasses a variety of media including digital art, oil, watercolor, pencil and pastel on a wide range of subject matter. His illustrative portfolio includes image retouching, book jackets, magazine cover art, and poster art.
   His paintings, pastels and drawings have been displayed in galleries and private collections in Europe, Asia, and America. Much of his inspiration is drawn from his extensive travels across Russia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and America.
   Yuri is a member of National Association of Photoshop Professionals, Society of Watercolor Artists and Johnson County Art Guild.
   In October 2003 he moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area where he established an art and design studio of his own.
