Now In: History of Texas Art Mart

Since the first inhabitants of this land hammered pictographs into rock the American West has inspired creativity. Contemporary artists continue to document the heritage of the American West in what continues to be one of the most exciting eras of American history.

Texas Art Mart gives you one-stop shopping for western art as well as a broad selection of other subjects. We feature high quality western prints, both open and limited edition, by legendary artists such as Frederick Remington, Charles Russell, G. Harvey, Robert Summers, Dalhart Windberg, George Boutwell, Gary Crouch, Tim Cox, Roberta Wesley, Andy Thomas, Larry Dyke and many more.

Also of interest to Cleburne area residents or former residents, is Yuri Trushin's pen and ink series of local historical buildings. We carry originals and prints of the old high school (now the Guinn Justice Building), Johnson County Courthouse, the Carnegie Library Building and early day area homes. We also carry other works in various media expressing Trushin's unique view of this land we call home. [Call for quotes.]

We are proud to offer one of the largest print inventories in the area, including many Texas bluebonnets, as well as traditional landscapes, seascapes, florals and still lifes, animals, religious and ethnic prints and subjects suitable for decorating children's rooms. We carry a full line of ready-made frames in standard sizes as well as offering a large variety of high quality moldings for custom framing including specialty framing and shadow boxes for memorabilia. On all our work we use non-glare glass and acid free mats specifically designed to protect your art investment.

Bronze sculptures are a part of the western art tradition and we have a good selection of bronzes in the gallery including reproductions of Remington and Russell pieces. All are cast using the "Original Lost Wax " process resulting in the best detail and accuracy of any technique. Sculptures complement the western or southwestern décor with an elegant three dimension effect.
